DEPARTMENT PROFILE

The department of Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the year 2009 with an intake of 60, followed by an increase to 90 in the year 2024. DEEE designed as a skill empower programme, to enable the students to keep pace with changing technological advances and the students actually learn by doing and progress from basics to higher order skills like installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment. Diploma graduates can start entrepreneurial ventures or can pursue higher studies in national premier institutions.

Programs

Electrical & Electronics Engineering is primarily concerned with practical applications of electricity in large scale of power Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Utilisation using modern power control systems. In these modern days, this branch is emerging by adopting PLC, SCADA and IOT technologies. Further, all the modern gadgets are operated with electricity and in near future, every machinery in transport system is going to adopt automatic charging battery equipment’s.
