DEPARTMENT PROFILE

The department of Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 2009 with an intake of 60. DECE designed as a skill empower programme, to enable the students to keep pace with changing technological advances and the students actually learn by doing and progress from basics to higher order skills like installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic and communication equipment. Diploma graduates can start entrepreneurial ventures or can pursue higher studies in national premier institutions.

Programs

The Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering focuses on electronic networks and devices, Electric fields, magnetic fields, computer fundamentals, communication and control systems. Electronics and Communication Engineering uses scientific knowledge of the behavior and effects of electronics to develop components, devices, systems and relative equipment. It deals with communication technology via wire/wireless networks, circuit designing and Micro controllers. The program provides necessary exposure to the students to attain better career opportunities. By the end of the programme student will be able to find job opportunity in industrial sector or opt for higher studies.
